Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Persian-American screenwriter, actor, editor and directorArmin Nasseri has been acting since the age of 14 andhas worked on both studio and several independentprojects beginning in Wilmington, North Carolina. Inhis early 20’s, Armin moved to Southern California andattended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts andcontinued his education at both L.A. City College andWest L.A. College, where he studied film productionand has now over 30 film production credits to hisname.

As an artist, Armin loves anything that is edgy andpushes boundaries. His creative endeavor, “Jump”screened at the Intercollegiate Film Festival in LosAngeles. He followed up his success with SeekingValentina, a psychological thriller that has alreadyreceived international attention due to its gender andethnically balanced casting, compelling themes andstorytelling structure. Seeking Valentina has screenedall over the world and has received severalnominations and awards including an HonorableMention by the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards.

Seeking Valentina has gotten distribution as the film has been picked up by Shorts TV. Nasseri directed ahorror comedy short film titled “The Carting Call.” The Carting Call has received several awards andnominations and is currently streaming on GenreTV, a platform available on Roku. Armin has also co-directed a feature film titled “The Central Authority” with long time collaborator Kristin West. TheCentral Authority has won multiple awards, including Best Cast at Alternative Film Festival.
